Beginning therapy can be intimidating. Seeking out help is a critical first step to healing, so be proud of yourself for even considering it.
When you’re able to be vulnerable and open, the opportunities for self-discovery and healing are infinite. It is my role to guide you through this process.
I create a supportive and validating environment, while also challenging my clients to consider different perspectives.
I bring a trauma informed, strengths-based, and client-centered approach to my work with clients. I believe in your ability to grow, change, and heal even in incredibly difficult circumstances.
I specialize in relationships, whether they are romantic, platonic, familial, or professional. I work with clients to establish boundaries, determine priorities, and feel more empowered to make decisions. I also support clients in developing better relationships with the various parts of themselves and build greater self awareness.
Some sessions may feel free flowing and philosophical–for example, exploring the ethics of nonmonogamy, the meaning of love, the feasibility of abolition, and the dynamic nature of racial identity. Other sessions may feel more goal oriented. I offer concrete coping skills to manage life's challenges and help clients create sustainable changes to improve their lives.
