Jordana Alhante, LMSW
My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy works best not by giving quick fixes, but by creating a space where we can slow down together and get curious about what's underneath the surface—your patterns, your pain, your hopes, and the parts of you that may have been left behind along the way.
As a full-time therapist in psychoanalytic training, I believe therapy is not just about symptom relief, it’s about becoming more fully yourself. Not the version shaped by pressure, fear, or survival, but the version that feels true, alive, and whole. To get there, we’ll explore how past relationships and unconscious patterns continue to shape your present-day experiences. This kind of deep, lasting change takes time. I encourage meeting more than once a week to move beyond coping so you can begin to understand yourself in a deeper way—allowing for new possibilities to emerge.
I’m an attentive, thoughtful therapist who doesn’t shy away from the complexity of being human. I’ll be in it with you—curious, honest, and always working to hold a space where you can be your most unfiltered self, defenses and all.
